Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Last night I watched this movie for the first time in at least 30 years. I had forgotten how powerful it was. How Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton portray a train wreck, waiting to happen and you just can't take your eyes off of it.

I had forgotten how disturbing this movie is. Then, sadly, I realized I actually know people like this!

I haven't watched this movie in probably about 30 years either. I just remember it was really good. Some say that it probably mirrored their own marriage at the time but who knows? I'll have to make a point of renting it if it's available!

Liz & Richard had one of the love/hate stories of the century really. I think their passion showed in every movie they made together. All emotions, all - everything were amazingly conveyed. They were very good at mutual destruction too though!
