This is not a reaction that instills confidence! The legacy he's leaving... trillions in debt, a never ending war, 4000+ dead and now... His own party failed to follow his wishes. His own nominee running for his job failed to persuade them. His speech to the American Public, forget about it!

The irony, the Democrats voted FOR it! McCain failed his first test and George W. just failed his last.

Some things are sacrosanct ! The Wailing Wall is one of them. My beliefs, or lack of them, aside they should be held accountable. If you are in Israel, you should cancel your subscription. Send them a message that hundreds of years of tradition, of acceptable behaviour and Rabbinical teachings cannot be ignored simply to boost sales!

The down and dirty of the end run.

"I Have Never Been a Muslim" Obama Battles False Rumors What's Fact and What's Fiction? I don't really think it matters what is fact/fiction and that, my friends, is the saddest part. By virtue of an unfortunate name, (unfortunate at this time in our history,) he is being branded. McCain, an American through and through is now facing a "can he be president" question as he was born in Panama. Why was he born there? His father was serving in the US military! His family was posted there! He was born on a US base!

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! You actually have a chance of having a President that is not a fear monger. I'm not naive, I know that threats exist, I know it's not the world we knew before but stop, enough is enough. Let a man/woman win on merits, on their record, on their basic decency. The more garbage you throw, the stinkier it gets for everyone.

1972 James Earls Jones; "The Man"

When I was 15, my Father took me to see the movie, "The Man." It has stayed with me over the next 35 years and I have often asked people if they had ever seen it. I have yet to meet someone who has. Apparently it has played on tv a few times but has never gone to video/DVD.

By sheer accident, (a building collapse,) James Earl Jones is the next in line for the presidency. He assumes the office, reluctantly. The movie is powerful and thought provoking.

I have been thinking of it often with the rise of Barak Obama. His assuming of the office, should it happen, would be very different in that it would be no accident of succession.
