My Antique Empire chair

I posted about my orange chair in March. Yesterday I found an identical settee on line in a NY Antique shop. I emailed them. Today they answered. They too think it must have been a set. They are identically carved and date from about 1820. Furniture back then was "one of" not mass produced. If not a pair, they were certainly made in the same shop.

So one ended up in London Ontario, one in New York...
